About Merced County Events
Merced County Events is a local guide built to make it easier to find what’s happening, what’s worth doing, and what’s worth checking out across Merced County and the surrounding areas.
If you’ve ever searched for something to do this weekend and ended up bouncing between five different Facebook posts, three outdated websites, and a “maybe it’s still open” Google result… yeah. Same.
This site is here to fix that.

Why this site exists
Merced County has a lot going on. It’s just not always easy to find it in one place.
This site is built to highlight the good stuff:
- the local events that deserve more visibility
- the businesses that make the community better
- the places people forget to explore until someone reminds them
Whether you’re a lifelong local, new to town, or just passing through on the way to Yosemite, you should be able to find something worth your time — fast.
Submissions and updates
Got an event, organization, business, or idea that should be listed?
Use the submission links on the site to share details. If it’s a good fit, we’ll get it added or updated.
(And if something looks outdated, let us know. Merced County moves fast and we do our best to keep up.)
Thanks for being here
This site is a work in progress, built with the community in mind. If it helps you discover one new place, show up to one local event, or find one resource you didn’t know existed, it’s doing its job.
